Terms and Conditions
1. Who are you contracting:
We are Birds and Wildlife Photo Tour Colombia SAS, identified with NIT 902010129-6, with registered address at Calle 131a No. 19-89, Bogotá, Colombia. We hold National Tourism Registry (RNT) No. 274799 and are supervised by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring or buying any of the tour services or products made by Retorno, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please abstain from hiring or buying any of our services or products.
3. Services
Retorno offers tours in birdwatching, Bird Photography, Expeditions, Herpetology, and Wildlife, as described on our website. Still, in many cases, the tours are not the same as those we show on the web, which is why any traveler can tailor them to their preferences. By requesting our services, you agree to comply with our service terms and any additional agreements between you and our company.

NOTE: To reduce transfer costs, we recommend making the initial payment through WeTravel and completing any subsequent payments via bank wire transfer. WeTravel may be used for the booking or initial deposit, while future installments should preferably be made by wire transfer to minimize transaction fees.
b. WeTravel Payment
You may request a WeTravel invoice to be sent directly to your email. WeTravel is a secure online payment platform specializing in tourism services. This option allows you to pay by credit card, subject to an additional processing fee of approximately 4%, or by bank account from the United States or Europe, with a fee of approximately 1%. The applicable fee will be clearly displayed before you confirm your payment. WeTravel also supports payments in multiple currencies, including GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, DKK, NOK, SEK, PLN, CHF, HKD, and MXN, with automatic currency conversion.
If you prefer this payment method, please let us know, and we will send you the appropriate payment link for your specific trip and amount.
c. PayPal (7% Extra Cost)
5. Cancellations and Refunds
At RETORNO, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Therefore, we offer the flexibility to reschedule the same tour you booked up to one year after the original date.
To reschedule the tour, please email info@retornobirding.com or dcasas@retornobirding.com, providing the reason for your situation and accepting any additional costs these changes may incur, such as extra accommodation, transportation, and nature reserve fees. Inflation and new expenses will apply if the tour takes place the following year or during the year, allowing for rescheduling.
a. You only have the opportunity to reschedule the tour once, and only for the stipulated period.
b. If you booked the tour more than 6 months ago, you will have a year and a half to reschedule.
c. The tour cannot be transferred.
d. If you want to modify the initial itinerary, destination, lodging, number of people, transportation, or other things, there may be extra costs.
Otherwise, if the tour begins within the next 45 days, we will not be able to assist you with rescheduling, as all payments to the various providers have already been made.
Note: Retorno will not issue refunds under any circumstances. If you receive a cancellation policy alongside a proposed tour, that policy will take precedence over any other terms.
6. Liability
LOGISTICS COULD CHANGE FOR MANY REASONS AS FOLLOWS:
a. Bird activity in the reserves to visit.
b. For the decision of the travelers.
c. Security issued.
d. Healthy issue.
e. Road Issue
f. Other no specify.
Travelers must accept any of these changes. If the shift incurs extra costs, the travelers assume them, which were budgeted before the change.
Retorno does not provide equipment rental or loan services; each person must bring their own cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, and computer to carry out the activity in the best conditions. Retorno is not responsible for the loss, deterioration, or theft of photographic equipment or accessories. RETORNO does not guarantee any specific bird species or their photography; nature is unpredictable.
RETORNO works hard to have the best logistics and protocols for safety during your visit to COLOMBIA BIRD PARADISE.
7. Warranty
We warrant that our services will be performed professionally and in accordance with industry standards. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us at info@retornobirding.com or dcasas@retornobirding.com to discuss a resolution.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Colombia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombia.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.
